EDWARDIAN DRESS * BLACK * 1915 * VINTAGE DRESS * OLD WAIST 20-24 INCHES

A true middle to late 1900s vintage Edwardian dress for the collector or someone who loves old things and can give her a good home. High waisted with lots of lovely detail from the front bodice, to the bottom, to the back. Take a good look at the pictures. The front has a high neck lace insert. The beautiful shaped sleeves are part velvet overlay and slim arms underneath. A big collar with deep V and a little velvet flower center front waist sets it all off. The bottom has a long velvet insert up and down and along the hem with black buttons on side for decoration only. Lots of fussy hooks and eyes in front. The back takes the big collar on around and drops it down, adds shape and button slots for design. A combination of wool, velvet, lace, and a sort of grossgrain fabric on the collar. A lovely piece. Somewhat wearable with care. I could not fit this on my mannequin. Very tiny. Please read conditions and measure for best fit.



CONDITION: FAIR TO GOOD. NUMEROUS HOLES HERE AND THERE. LIKE IT GOT HIT WITH A SHOTGUN. ESPECIALLY ON THE BOTTOM FRONT AND BACK. THE BODICE, NOT SO BAD. ONE UNDER ARM TORN, NEEDS MENDED. LACE INSERT VERY NICE. SHOULDERS TORN SLIGHTLY. HOLES ALL OVER WILL NEED MENDED TO MAKE DRESS MORE WEARABLE. ANYTHING THIS OLD WILL NEED TLC.
