1940s DRESS * WWll DRESS * SWING DRESS * BEADED WAIST: 24"-26". A beautiful black crepe 1940s dress in very good condition. Fabulous dangle black glass beadwork on a sheer black net bodice. One small place on the shoulder where the net is torn. Look at the pictures for better idea. Very long and lean with lots of bust room. The back skirt has pleats to make a swingy effect. There is a zipper on the side,a hook and eye at the back neck, and it has the belt. Perfect WWll reenactment dress or rockabilly piece. Classic and sexy! You must measure around a 33"-40" bust, a waist of 24"-26" and hips up to 38". Shoulder to shoulder is around 17" and shoulder to waist is long at 18". The length is 49". There is no label. A snazzy looking vintage womens dress in very good condition. A navy and white busy print in a sort of nylon fabric. The bodice has a sheer white insert and velvet cord laced and a bow center. The zipper is on the side and it comes with the belt. The petticoat does not come with the dress. You must measure around a 44"-46" bust, a waist of 32"-34". Shoulder to waist is 17" and the length is 46". There is a couple of inches you could let out perhaps. There is a label that reads: "Peg Palmer". Nice dress for your swing, USO, or WWll dance. Costume theatre too.

A STUNNING little 40s vintage SWING dress for the gal who needs a USO dress or WWll reenactment piece. So SWEET and DARLING, it is sure to please. A SLIPPERY rayon fabric. Very Moveable. Little SQUIGGLY design on the gray fabric in RED and CHARTRUSE. Small GATHERS at the padded shoulders. The most REMARKABLE little FELT flowers on a HORSESHOE pattern at the waist. SWEET! For extra FLAIR, a little DOT of FLOWERS on the right shoulder TOO. Just AMAZING! The skirt has a side GATHER where the horseshoe pattern is for LOTS of dance MOVEMENT. A WONDERFUL dress amost 75 YEARS OLD. There are some covered buttons at the back neck and a side zipper for close. A label reads: Mary Muffet.


CONDITION: GOOD. BODICE HAS TWO SMALL SPOTS. SKIRT HAS SEVEN SMALL SPOTS AND SEVERAL TINY TO SMALL HOLES. HARDLY NOTICABLE, ANY OF THIS. NO UNDERARM STAINS. STILL A GREAT PIECE TO WEAR FROM THE 1930s TO 1940s.

This was probably a robe originaly. You could make this dress smaller by moving buttons over slightly. FANTASTIC print design of fancy HATS and bunches of FLOWERS. Short waisted with a long BOTTOM. Small shoulder pads. A label reads: Marilyn.

Deep V neckline with a button top hook and eye. I have it closed for the pictures. Button needs replaced as fabric is frayed. The bottom has some interesting gathers on front that sort of loop and cross in front. Makes for a swingy look. Smooth in back. There is a side zipper but no belt. CONDITION: GOOD. A CLUSTER OF SMALL PIN HOLES ON BACK NECK TOP AND ONE SMALL HOLE ON FRONT BODICE. COLLAR AROUND BACK NECKLINE IS BADLY FRAYED BUT NOT TOO NOTICEABLE WHEN WEARING. THE HEM HAS BEEN LET OUT THE LONGEST IT WILL GO. NICE, WEARABLE OVERALL.
