A STUNNING little 40s vintage SWING dress for the gal who needs a USO dress or WWll reenactment piece. So SWEET and DARLING, it is sure to please. A SLIPPERY rayon fabric. Very Moveable. Little SQUIGGLY design on the gray fabric in RED and CHARTRUSE. Small GATHERS at the padded shoulders. The most REMARKABLE little FELT flowers on a HORSESHOE pattern at the waist. SWEET! For extra FLAIR, a little DOT of FLOWERS on the right shoulder TOO. Just AMAZING! The skirt has a side GATHER where the horseshoe pattern is for LOTS of dance MOVEMENT. A WONDERFUL dress amost 75 YEARS OLD. There are some covered buttons at the back neck and a side zipper for close. A label reads: Mary Muffet.
CONDITION: GOOD. BODICE HAS TWO SMALL SPOTS. SKIRT HAS SEVEN SMALL SPOTS AND SEVERAL TINY TO SMALL HOLES. HARDLY NOTICABLE, ANY OF THIS. NO UNDERARM STAINS. STILL A GREAT PIECE TO WEAR FROM THE 1930s TO 1940s.
