In back of her on the top of the dresser is a gilt mirror frame. (NO mirror, apparently never was) Good detailing and coloring, condition very good. A factory-flaw line in the mirror frame. A delightful miniature, make a wonderful gift/.

Tiny Purse Mirror With Memo Pad Bonded/Insured Seller offers this tiny hinged metal purse mirror with erasable celluloid memo and tiny pencil. Overall 2 3/8 inch long by 1 5/8 in. wide. Plus a 3 1/2 in. long chain and finger-ring. The pencil holder keeps it closed, then when the pencil is removed, it opens to the memo and mirror. The silver-colored metal has scuffs, especially the back, and the mirror shows tarnish around the edge. The chain and finger-ring show corrosion. Back is marked Beich's Chocolates. Overall design is traditional. Was this a premium item, a child's toy, what? A great item as a gift, and does not take up much space in a curio cabinet!

Virupaksah Lokapala, King of the Nagas. Bonded Seller offers this Chinese bronze of Virupaksah Lokapala, Guardian of West, King of the Nagas. Said to be from the Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 a.d. Imported to this country in the mid 1930's by a well-known oriental dealer in St. Louis , Mo. and appraised in the 1940's for over $5,000.00. It is in fine condition in a beautful patinated goldleaf finish, which is the mark of all truly important religious or other figures from China and the orient. If an item does not have goldleaf, it is not an item of veneration-- just "tourist" goods.
Please note the iron armature cast into the legs and body of this figure (see photo). This is the same technique used since the Renaissance to insure the strength of a standing figure. See the fierce and scowling face. Warlike stance and menace radiate from this figure. I can attest to the fact that in the 25 + years that I have had this figure, no Nagas have ever given me trouble.

We Want Beer Bonded/Insured Seller offers this miniature boxed set marked Made in Japan, (box size 5 3/4 by 6 3/4 inches) of amber glass beer bottles and clear glass mugs. Inside of box: L. (Lenore) Pollen, 256 Euclid,Long Beach, Please Return, 8-7-33. Also a strip of paper: I bought this Game at Kress's in L.A. in August,1933. It ties up well with the gambling-ship ad and complimentary privilege card thrown into my parked car on Spring near 7th, same day; and the attractively packaged cigarretes of chocolate or gum. Glass items in excellent unused condition, the box is complete but in fragile (original, unrepaired) condition. Here is a nicely documented bit of American History.
