The headboard is massive! Turned and fluted posts are 6" in diameter with finely carved capitals. The headboard is 11.5" thick at the widest part. Footboard posts are 9" in diameter at the largest spot and the footboard is a massive 45.5" tall in center. The rails are 37" wide at the headboard.
