Story: For the American soldiers who landed on the island of Anopopei, the steaming jungles and treacherous slopes proved as deadly as any human enemy. This is the story of the handful of exhausted men in the reconnaissance platoon who land on its unprotected beach, charged with an impossible and futile mission from which few will return alive.

Timbal Gulch Trail, Vintage Western PBK
A novel of the fighting West, Timbal Gulch Trail was written by Max Brand and published in this second printing of the Popular Library Edition in 1953. It's listed as Popular Library #1445.
The vintage western is in Good condition, but has a few problems: front cover has a vertical crease in the center; there's a small puncture wound through the front cover and the first 20 pages. This has only cut through the cover and a few pages, others are dented. Edges, corners and spine ends are slightly worn, with a previous owner's name handwritten on the front endpaper. Still, it's clean, crisp, very readable and one you can use to complete your collection until the perfect copy comes along! (3977C)
