Gorgeous! Pink Roses on Bavaria Plates
Marked STOUFFER HAND DECORATED, BAVARIA, these three beautiful little plates measure about 6-inch in diameter and were decorated with a wonderful design! Each features two clusters of bright pink roses in bloom on opposite edges, with the plate itself moving from shades of cream through a light yellow to a minty green near the outer edges. A strong gold trim surrounds the outer edge.
We see no defects at all on these plates – no chips, cracks, scratches or other damage! Even the gold trim is without noticeable wear! These are beauties! All three are included in one price! (4235)

GORGEOUS Pink Roses, Bavarian Plate
It’s hard to imagine that this lovely plate has survived more than 100 years with no damage! The German words for “Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread” appear in gold across the center, flanked by beautiful pink roses and surrounded by a variety of gold designs. There are swirled designs in the china itself around the edge, with luster-like color on alternative sections of the scalloped edges. Cut-outs on two sides make it appear to be handled. This is one of the nicest plates we’ve ever seen!
On the back, its source is identified in gold type as “Bavaria,” but no other manufacturer details are given. It was brought to the U.S. from Bavaria before 1900. We see NO defects here – no chips, crazing, or scratches from use! This is a beautiful plate! We doubt we’ll ever see a better example of its type! (4245)
