Cardiographic Technique, 1963
With pages filled with tremendous black/white photos and drawings, Cardiographic Technique by A. Schott (Queen Mary's Hospital, London) and E. H. Snell provides interesting information concerning the history and development of the electrocardiogaph, phonocardiography and vectorcardiograms.
The 140-page hardbound book was published in this 1963 second edition by William Heinemann Medical Books, London. The book's objective was to describe for cardiological technicians the fundamental principles, biological as well as instrumental, on which electrocardiography and phonocardiography are based.
A rather difficult to find title, this is Ex Lib, with the usual library markings. Condition, however, is still Good+. Covers show minor soil, scuffing and edge/corner/spine end wear. Inside pages show no apparent defects. (M106)

Clinical Electrocardiography
Described as Interpretation on a Physiologic Basis, Clinical Electrocardiography was written by Manuel Gardberg,MD, Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Additional chapters were contributed by Richard Ashman, Irving Rosen and Louis Levy II. The 315-page hardbound book was published in 1957 by Paul B. Hoeber, New York.
In the Preface, Gardberg notes that the teaching of electrocardiographyt is difficult because students are not given the opportunity to visualize the process in its entirety. This book was designed to provide a visual method, based on a knowledge of physiologic principles, to help both medical students and practicing physicians to interpret the elecrocardiogram with greater accurace and security.

Written by Meyer Texon, MD, New York, and published in 1954 by Grune & Stratton, New York, Heart Disease & Industry with particular reference to Workmen's Compensation Cases.
Noting that many physicians shun medicolegal litigation because they are often unable to make precise and unequivocal statements of cause and effect concerning certain cardiac disorders and accidents, the author analyzed 100 cases of heart disease in relation to industrial accidents. His findigs are told here.
Five chapters discuss the nature of the study; the following three describe the 100 cases studied. The final 25 chapters detail their coronary occlusions. An index and glossary provide valuable details for the reader.
