Pretty Hand Painted Meito Violets Plate
This is a very pretty little plate, marked MEITO CHINA, HAND PAINTED, MADE IN JAPAN.

It measures about 6.5 inches diameter and has a lovely pattern with a strip of light green at the edges, broken with pink blocks that fence little baskets of lavender-colored violets. The plate is rimmed with a glossy gold band.

The condition is Very Good, with slight wear on the gold edging, plus what appears to be a small flaw in the plate under the glaze near the center. Otherwise we see no defects – no crazing, chips or cracks.

Violets on Hand-Painted Floral Meito Plate
This is another fine little plate with the MEITO CHINA, HAND PAINTED, MADE IN JAPAN, and with an added stamp THE JONROTH STUDIOS, HAND PAINTED below.

It measures about 6 1/8-in. diameter and has no scratches, but does have two small black spots under the glaze on the plate’s white center area.
