1876 Philadelphia Centennial Exposition Hand Fan Vase
An elegant 130+ year old souvenir of the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition held in 1876, this frosted glass hand fan vase is in very good condition.
On May 10, 1876, eleven years after the end of the Civil War, Ulysses S. Grant opened the International Exposition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the United States.
The detailed hand holds a fan shaped embossed floral leaf motif vase, and the words "Centennial 1876" appear in raised letters on the base, minor chip/flake on the underside of base (see additional photos).
Circa: 1876
Size: 7" tall x 2½” at base.

Cane Insert Covered Butter Dish -Tarentum
This lovely covered butter dish was made by Tarentum Glass Co.,c1898. The pattern name is Cane Insert (or Arched Cane & Fan).
This dish was gold trimmed however most of the gold has worn, as can be seen in the pictures. This dish is in very good condition having no chips,flakes or cracks. A nice addition to your collection. 5¾" H x 7¼" W
