Very Good Condition intact spine; two tears repaired with acid-free, transparent archival paper mending tape (repairs made inside covers); upper spine-side pencil initials; minimal cover wear; sheet music complete with six pages.

Victorian-era sentimental ballads told a story, sometimes with a happy ending; more frequently with a sad one -- hence, the name tearjerker.

In this Charles K. Harris song For Sale - A Baby, a poor mother tries to sell her starving baby. The song was reportedly based on an actual news singer story.

A very nice copy for dιcor or framing as the central graphic is in good condition.
