| A lovely older Mexican sterling 3 piece set with small turquoise stones in each link. Set consists of necklace, bracelet and earrings. Each link on all the pieces are domed with a decorative center of swirls and a small bead of turquoise. The necklace comes down in front with a piece that looks like two of the links put together, but it is one piece, a sterling flat link chain completes the necklace with a measurement of 16 1/4 in.'s long. Bracelet measures 7 1/2 in.'s long with each link measuring 3/4 in. long and 1/2 in. wide. The same size links applies to all the pieces. Earrings are the same design and screw back style. The necklace is marked Sterling Mexico which denotes an older set. I estimate it to be from possible the 40's. The bracelet has some denting on the sides of the links, which look like they are from being hand wrought. The bracelet has a slide closure with the necklace having a hook closure. All the links are hollow and all the pieces hand put together. This is a rare set and definitely one of a kind. Complete weight is 2.50 oz. Condition is all around excellent. |
