Carving for over 25 years, Susan Smith draws her strength and inspiration from family. While she lives in Alaska, her family resides on the East Coast. Although the miles have set them apart, her family is very dear to her. Susan honors her roots by incorporation a gold heart on each of her designs because "Goldhart" is her maiden name. Christmas is a special time for Susan and her family and through her creations, she hopes to convey the fun and whimsy of the season.
