Vintage Poliwoggs Miniature Halloween Witch in Orange and Red Dress #8258. This Jointed Miniatures approximately measures 2 1/2 tall by 1 inches by ½ inch. This is from the Original Line of Poliwoggs by Salamander (This is before Dept 56 starting making them). From 2002 Line Now RETIRED! These fantastic paper-mâché looking figurines are gaining popularity nationally in folk art circles. Now is your chance to own a Poliwogg from the original Salamander line by Vic Fortunato & David Critchfield! Poliwoggs are great resin recreations of vintage paper-mâché toys from the early part of the last century. Made of resin, each piece is individually formed and hand-painted to create a primitive, vintage style, paper-mâché look. These are a very high quality collectible and will surely be a highlight of any collection. If you are a collector of Primitive Folk Art and/or Halloween Collectibles, this would make a great addition to your collection!
