BLACK CAT COOKIE JAR This cookie jar was made by North American Ceramics. Measures 9 in. long and approx. 6 in. tall. No chips,cracks,etc, but as you will see from the images there is paint loss on the face of white and red on the bow tie at the neck. This is common to the cold painting process used when this was produced. I believe it was made in the 50-60's era. Add to your cookie jar, cat or kitty collection, or use to store your favorite treats. The curly tail adds a whimsical touch as the handle.

Black glazed Cactus ptn. Cookie Jar A handled cookie jar with a high gloss glaze with a handpainted southwestern or Mexican scene with an embossed cactus plant. Stands 9 in. tall and is 8 in. diameter at the widest area. No damage that I can find other than some paint loss. Paint loss is common to items that were cold painted, not fired, from this era. Unmarked, so maker is unknown. Good, usable condition.

Stoneware Urn, Cookie Jar I believe this item was originally a cookie jar but since it has lost its cover it will make a great urn or vase to display and use. Blue glazed stoneware with cold painted floral pattern. Some of the painting has been lost over time as is common with this type of unfired painting. No chips, nicks, cracks etc. Stands 8.5 in. tall and is 5.25 in. diameter at the base. Bottom marked USA. I'm sure this can still be a useful, vintage piece.

DECORATED CHURN COOKIE JAR This vintage cookie jar is in a churn shape. Unmarked. Stands 10 in. tall. Diameter at the bottom is 7.75 in. Handpainted with yellow flowers and green leaves. Some paint is missing as this is from the era of cold painting, not fired on, so after use and cleaning the paint is lost. Slight stains on the bottom but has no chips, cracks, etc. Will display well and is usable.Unmarked, so maker is unknown.

Floral Cookie Jar, Inarco, Ceramic An attractive, vintage cookie jar that stands 6.5 in. tall. Measures 7 in. diam. In good, usable condition but does have several issues of paint loss and chips on the raised floral design. Easily restored or use as is to add a bit of vintage charm to your kitchen area. Cookie Jar, Wicker Handle, Occupied Japan A biscuit or cookie jar with an attached wicker handle. This container stands 5 in. tall plus the handle. There is one tiny glaze miss on the handle holder. I believe from the mfg. process.Bottom marked Made in Occupied Japan in black. This would date it from '46-'52 when all items produced in Japan had to be marked this way. It measures 4.75 in. diameter. Tomato shape with handpainted leaves and decorated stem on the lid. No chips, cracks or repairs. Use, display and enjoy.

Dog In Basket Cookie Jar A vintage cookie jar that is called Dog In BAsket. Bottom marked Pat. Pend. My cookie jar reference book just says Maker Unknown. This one is in fairly good conidtion with just crazing, no chips, cracks, etc. It has been cold painted so has consequently lost a portion of its paint. Stands 12.5 in. tall and is 6.5 in. diameter. It will definitely add a nostalgic touch to your kitchen or collection.

GINGERBREAD HOUSE COOKIE JAR A colorful gingerbread house to hold your Holiday treats. Stands 9.5 in. tall and the base is 6 x 6.5 in. In very good condition. I find only a discolored edge on one corner on the under side. I believe it to be part of the manufacturing process as it feels smooth. Japan PSM sticker is still atached to the bottom. Perhaps from the 1970-1980 era.Decorative to display and/or use.

No chips, nicks, etc. Stands 10.5 in. tall. The base is 7 1/8 in. diameter. Great to use for your special treats or display in your kitchen. Beautiful wood look glaze.
