A black amethyst glass cookie jar that has been handpainted at one time. Still a bit of the hand painted design but most has washed off over the years. This covered container stands 8 in. tall. Barrel shape, it measures 6.5 in. diameter at the top. Tab or Ear handles. No chips, nick, cracks, etc. I believe this item was produced by the L.E. Smith Glass Co. in the '30's-'40's era. Shows an amethyst color when held to a bright light. |
