This conch shell was produced by the Van Briggle Pottery Co. Measures 8.5 in. long and is 3.25 in. wide. Stands 3.5 in. tall. I find no chips, or cracks. In a deep mulberry color, it is bottom marked with the incised conjoined A's logo. The A's stand for Artus and Anna. founders of the company. Also Colo. Spgs. All in a reddish color. I believe this item is from the early 1950's. |
