CHIC LOVE STORY FRENCH COURT TEAPOT
If you love the Shabby Chic Romantic Cottage décor, then you will love this absolutely beautiful romantic pattern entitled LOVE STORY. This fine china has hand painted scenes of the French court, from the original paintings presented to Madam Du Barry, French courtesan to King Louis the XV. The original paintings were by the famous French artist Jean Fragonard, who was born in France in 1732. Among his finest works were a group of four panels known as The Romance Of Young Love. They portray the free and romantic life of the French court and were especially painted for Madam Du Barry. The paintings were later purchased by the American Pierpont Morgan. In 1915 they were acquired for the Frick collection where there is a special room dedicated to these beautiful paintings. This is a very large collection we just acquired with many pieces of this gorgeous pattern, so please be sure to view our other listings. This is a gorgeous large coffeepot. It is stunning with the different panels of scenes of the French court. The use of gold and gold raised beading is exquisite as is the lace like gold pattern. The background color is a beautiful buttery yellow, just so beautiful! This fine teapot measures about 7 inches high having gorgeous classical lines, in excellent condition, absolutely perfect and gorgeous! It was imported by the world famous china shop Cassidy’s from West Germany in the 1950s. Can you just image it in your cabinet! LOVELY NIPPON HAND PAINTED GILT ROSES TEAPOT
Beautiful signed NIPPON teapot with hand painted pink roses and lush raised gold decorations. The teapot stands 7 5/8 inches high and is 6 3/4 inches across. The condition is very nice, no chips or cracks, some gold loss on the knob and handle as is common for the age, otherwise perfect. What a lovely elegant pot to add to your collection of teapots and Nippon porcelain!

DELIGHTFUL MINIATURE ANTIQUE ORIENTAL TEAPOT
Wonderful circa 1880s-1910 miniature Oriental teapot! The teapot is a delight to look at it, it stands 2 1/2 inches high counting the lid's knob and is from spout to handle 3 1/4 inches across, in fabulous condition-no damage. It looks to have been made by a young person judging from the charming small finger prints. The teapot is a chocolate brown color with beautifully aged gilt highlights along the rim, spout and handle. The body is decorated with crabs. Its missing its wicker handle, otherwise all original and in beautiful condition-no damage.A choice addition to your collection of minatures and teapots.

VINTAGE SHEFFIELD SILVER ORNATE TEA KETTLE ON STAND
Beautiful antique silver plate Sheffield English teapot on a stand. The set is highly decorative. The set is marked on bottom: Sheffield, Made in England, Kentshire. It even still has the chain attached to base and teapot, with the lock in the back. The overall measurements are as follows: 12 .5 inches tall by 9 .5 inches wide by 6 .5 inches deep. The condition is wonderful! What a beautiful teapot to enjoy serving tea at your tea time table! Or enjoy it gracing your sideboard. A lovely addition to your fine silver collection.

Antique Figural Hand Painted Cat Teapot
Fabulous find is this character CAT teapot! This porcelain cat teapot is handpainted and has the same look of Galle cats. Its in wonderful condition-no chips but has a light hairline on the bottom on one side, otherwise just fine. The teapot is marked on the bottom but difficult to make out, it looks to be Made In Germany or Czech-slovakia A beautiful unique looking teapot to add to your collection!

What a find! A fancy antique 'Brown Betty' like teapot that is very much decorated in the Arts and crafts style and era. It has a beautiful design on both sides and is richly enameled. The teapot is a large size and in great condition , with only a small shallow chip/flake in the lid's deep collar , and some gold loss as is expected for a 90 year plus teapot, otherwise in very nice condition.
