The case is beautiful lustrous mother of pearl shell on both sides, inside is Royal purple silk and velvet housing tiny gilt metal needlework tools: needlecase, thimble-beautifully engraved, awl and bodkin needle. It looks like there was another bodkin needle but its not in the kit, otherwise the contents are all complete and original to the case. The case measures 4 inches by 3 inches, the pearl shell is in wonderful condition-no chips or cracks. The gilt metal tools are in wonderful condition with the needlecase needing a polish. A delightful all original Victorian sewing set to add to your collection of fine Victorian needlework tools.

Lovely Victorian Round Sewing Basket Lovely Victorian round shape lidded sewing needlework basket. This is a lovely Victorian basket with an interesting design shape one doesn’t find very often. The interior is in very nice condition, being a pretty pink cloth interior; the lid has a very light stain which in all fairness doesn’t detract at all. It measures about 7 ½ inches across and stands about 5 inches high, in clean fabulous condition. VICTORIAN WICKER SEWING STAND SO CHIC Beautiful Victorian natural wicker sewing or knitting stand. This is a wonderful never painted stand. It is in very good condition, a little bit of unraveling on the handle where someone had taped it and by the catch there is a little damage, and bottom shelf edge has unraveling.
