What a Fabulous find!

| This is a small French tapestry with lovely delicate colors of pinks,roses,lavander,blues, soft greens and beiges, not faded. It seems it was put away and never used. It measures about 7 inches by 6 ½ inches, in excellent condition and dates from about 1900 to about 1920. The scene is a classic garden scene with a lady and gentleman with a castle/chateau in the background. The tapestry is extremely fine, it was difficult to take a proper image, it appears coarse, but in real life its very fine and detailed. Beautiful to frame and decorate with. What a beautiful addition to your antique tapestries collection. |
