VINTAGE ORNATE BRASS FIGURAL FRAME This vintage brass frame is topped by three cherubs playing instruments and has unicorns with serpents tails at the bottom. There are scrolls and flowers and things all over it. It measures 12.5” high and 9.5” wide at the base. The inside opening is 5.5” long and 3.75” wide. You could use it as a picture frame or put a mirror in it (or I guess if you buy it you can do what you want with it). Buyer to pay $8.00 shipping and insurance in continental US.

ANTIQUE MALE NUDE DRAWING paris, france This antique drawing is wonderful. It comes from the Main Line Philadelphia estate of one of the cities founding families who owned the largest mill in the colonies and came to Pennsylvania in 1682 with William Penn. James S. Treloar (Jaimee) was an American artist of great promise who studied in Paris from 1910 to 1914 during which time this drawing was done. He died in his early twenties. I have his portfolio from that time which includes approximately fifty drawings, some watercolors, handpainted wallpaper, art supplies and more. The drawings are on a heavy buff paper measuring 24" x 18". They were in a suitcase folded over for more than 80 years. There is a soft fold in all of them. My camera flash tended to wash out the details so I took the second picture without the flash (it is slightly blurred)and the side view picture on an angle to avoid the glare. His skill is evident in the musculature. I have sold one nude drawings bay. I quote the buyer/collector/dealer: "Joe, the piece arrived in v. good order. You pack far better than most! And I love the piece, it's terrific." And in a separate email: " I have the piece I bought from you framed--it's gorgeous." Buyer to pay $12.00 for priority shipping and insurance in the continnetal US.
