The sale is for a large elaborately detailed old copper tray that is artist signed. The burnished areas of the copper are in high relief as is the peripheral decoration. Please supersize the pictures to notice the detail on the edges of the tray. The scene of a warrior listening to a yuth with his lyre is striking. The tray is in excellent condition and measures about 26.25" by 19.5". It appears from the back that it may have been at one time wall mounted. Buyer pays actual priority shipping and insurance. |
