Lundberg Blue & Gold Butterfly and a surprise
Surface decorated iridescent weight. Blue and gold butterfly with group of pink accent canes above green & gold pulled design. Measures 2-3/4" in diameter by 2" tall. Opaque white core. Signed Lundberg Studios 1980 and marked #LU-115.
Actually, the signature on this piece is a delightful surprise. Somebody was having a goof-off day, I suspect. The year is written 4 and a half times (yes, four and a half). The Lundberg signature is written out once in full, and several partials. And superimposed over the whole thing is the word HELP. I'm betting my parents pounced on this collector's item specifically for the fun of it, as they were frequent visitors at the Lundberg Studios and knew Steve Lundberg and Daniel Salazar personally.

Daniel Salazar (attrib) Dogwood paperweight
This beautiful paperweight, featuring dogwood over five purple butterflies, is not signed but almost certainly by Daniel Salazar. It could be that it was left unsigned because of a slight flaw in the iridescent ground, shown in the photos. Priced accordingly. 3 inches x 2.25, in mint condition. Originally purchased at Lundberg Studios in 1984.
