G536

Fenton Vasa Murrhina two-handled vase Fenton produced Vasa Murrhina (literally Vessels of Gems) from 1964-68, and then came back in the late seventies and early eighties to do a few more. This vase, and the matching pitcher, G701, were experimental pieces in green vasa murrhina WITHOUT any blue in it, as the other Fenton pieces had. This piece was made prior to 1980, most likely, as it has the Fenton logo but no number. 4 inches by 6.5, in mint condition.

G512

Fenton Vasa Murrhina Vase Green aventurine vase, 4.5 inches x 6.5, it's an excellent match for my two other aventurine vasa murrhina pieces. Pre-1980, priced low because of a thin spot in the glass, shown in the last photo where the patch of white is. It would still display very well with the other two pieces.

G527

Fenton Vasa Murrhina multi-colored vase Here's a Vasa Murrhina vase with multicolor flecks. I've found no reference in the books to this color pattern, but there are two experimental pieces shown on page 190 of Warman's Fenton Glass, 2nd Edition, by Mark F. Mora that are similar so I'm guessing this is also experimental. The back side is marred by numerous air bubbles that I am showing in the second photo. It stands about 8" high, has four "spouts" in its ruffle. It has the Fenton logo embossed on the bottom, but no year, so it must have been made during the 70's, which is curious as most vasa murrhina was made in the 1960's or 1980's. An unique piece of Fenton history!

Fenton Vasa Murrhina 1989 FAGCA Vase Here is your chance to get a rare limited edition item originally produced for the FAGCA convention in 1989. This Vasa Murrhina pinch vase is Rose with Aventurine Green (6453-RG). This item IS marked as a second, with an etched S on the bottom, as it has some bubbles and specks in the overlay on the backside as shown. But it displays beautifully and is priced to sell. The vase measures 8-1/2" tall by 4-1/2" in diameter. In excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
