Baccarat Mushroom Paperweight Baccarat, along with St. Louis, was one of the classic crystal works in France in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Two world wars tended to destroy the crystal works, but Baccarat started up again in the 1950's, with sulphides (porcelain-paste medallions), millefiori, and lampwork weights.

Magnum-sized Baccarat paperweight, 3.25 inches x 2.25. Yellow and white double overlay with top facet and 5 side facets, radial fluting on bottom. Inside, millefiori mushroom in red, white blue and yellow. Baccarat logo and 1973 double-etched on bottom. Also signature B cane with 1973 on it. In mint condition.

Crystal d'Albret Sulphide of Charles A. Lindbergh The French glass factory d'Albret, started in 1918, by Roger Witking, began making sulfides in 1967 under the name "Cristalleries d'Albret, with Gilbert Poillerat, a noted French sculptor, producing the cameos.

Beautiful sulphide of Charles A. Lindbergh by Gilbert Poillerat for Crystal d'Albret. Pale blue double overlay, snowflake cut base. Signed GP 75. Limited production of 200 pieces. 3 inches x 1.75 in mint condition. Produced in 1975.

Star cut base with milled edges. One of only 170 double overlays made. Signed GP 74. Includes box and numbered certificate. 3 inches x 2, in mint condition.

Lalique Maple Leaf Paperweight Lalique glass was originally made by Rene Lalique in Paris, France, between the 1890s and his death in 1945, and were the epitome of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. Lalique crystal is still being made today, not only in the traditional frosty white, but also in clear and colored pieces.

This paperweight dates back to 1983. It is 3.75 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall and features a raised frosted maple leaf in a circle, on an octagonal base. Signed Lalique France. In mint condition.
