A507

Fenton Teal Fine Cut and Grapes 3-footed Bowl The Fine Cut and Grapes pattern by Fenton is reminiscent of Northwood's Fine Cut & Roses pattern. This 3-footed bowl is rare enough in almost any color, but this item is apparently a sample produced in the early 80's, before this color came into the line. It features a tri-corn crimp, Fenton's logo on the bottom, and measures 4-1/4" tall by 4" across. The only flaw I can see is that there is a smear of black or very dark green glass in one area (as shown), and a small rough spot on the inside of the neck. No chips or cracks.

G109

Fenton Spanish Lace Compote in Cameo This compote, 6.5 inches x 7, pattern #3522, is non-satinized cameo glass with a crystal crest. It is NOT opalescent, which is why I believe it is an experimental piece. The Fenton logo features an "8", indicating it was made in the 1980's, but I do not have a more exact date. In excellent condition.

G916

Covered Candy Dish signed by Mike Fenton Covered candy dish in amethyst glass, #9280-AY. Two sides of the dish have pattern and texture, two sides do not, so I believe this is an experimental piece, as all the other dishes I've seen like this do not have any patterns or textures. The lid features a butterfly. 5 inches x 5.25, in mint condition. Signed by Mike Fenton, 8-6-82.

Fenton Experimental Spatter Vase This vase, and its two cousins, G540 and G704, features cranberry, violet and brown spatter over milk glass. 4 inches x 7, in excellent condition. fluted and crimped top, crystal overlay. Most likely an experimental piece. It's certainly not in the line. The finish is a tad uneven, as can be seen in the close-up photos. Fenton logo on bottom, but no year so believed to be from the late 1970's. Originally acquired in 1981 from the Fenton factory showroom.

B534

Fenton Orange Flowers on Ebony HP Vase Here is an unusual piece. Possibly a trial design done at the same time as Dianthus on Custard (which was designed by the same artist). The ebony black glass vase (7557) has yellow and orange dianthus flowers with green leaves handpainted by Linda Everson. There are smaller flowers on the reverse as shown, and even buds on each side. The vase measures 9-1/2" tall by 4-1/2" in diameter. In excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
