Manufacturer: Fenton Glass
This Rose pattern high-footed compote is made in Fenton's Blue Marble (9222-MB). A wonderful combination of milk glass and blue glass. As is common to the slag-type glass, heat checks often appear as the different glass colors tend to cool at different rates. This comport shows one very small heat crack, that DOES NOT go through, but I wanted to point it out nonetheless. It is shown in the last photo. It is an impressive piece, standing nearly 8" high and 6" across.
