Manufacturer: Fenton Glass
This is an NIL oddity from Fenton's Christmas in America series. The 11th plate in the series issued in 1980 (8280-CN), this is "Christ Church" in amethyst carnival. Perhaps just made to test the face mold since the reverse is blank. But they did go ahead and add the carnival finish, so who really knows? It is a rarity purchased directly from Fenton by my parents, and the mold was destroyed after that year's production. It has one 1/2" "straw mark" at the nine o'clock position and priced accordingly.
