This is a special NIL edition of Fenton's 1776-1976 Bicentennial Eagle plate (9418-CN). It is produced in amethyst carnival rather than the standard colors for this collection: Patriot Red, Valley Forge White, Independence Blue or Chocolate. It is 8" in diameter and the front shows the American Eagle surrounded by a circle of thirteen stars. The inscription on the back is different from the regular edition as well. Under an arch of 13 stars, it reads: 1776 Heritage
