Paul Stankard's paperweights feature exclusively flowers, complete plants from the roots to the twigs, leaves and blossoms. His paperweights were the first modern examples of any kind that appeared at art auctions along with antiques and immediately brought high prices.
PW250 is a botanical paperweight featuring an orange and white desert flower, complete with roots. Crystal, 5 and 1 concave facets, 3.5 inches x 2. Signature S cane and etched on the side A005 1983. A very beautiful piece, hard to come by.
