Leonard DiNardo studied at the prestigious Penland School in North Carolina in 1976, and has taught at Penland, the Hinckley School of Crafts in Maine and the renowned Pilchuck Glass Center in Washington. He was recently chosen by Movado to collaborate with Ubaldo Vitali, possibly the foremost silversmith in the world, on an artglass series to be featured in the upscale Movado boutiques.

This paperweight is named Desidera #1 and features blood-red glass with black figured overlay. At magnum size, 3.5 inches x 3.25, it is signed Leonard Di Nardo 1984 Desidera #1. In mint condition.
