This glass optic paperweight by James Shaw was made with a touch of boron to give the cobalt blue color. In fluorescent light, it appears pale blue, but more of a lavender in normal light. Triangular weight 1.375 inches x 2.75. Two round concave cuts front and back, one round concave cut and two sets miter cuts on bottom. Etched JAS 85. Looks really nice with the other two James Shaw paperweights.
