W. SATTERLEE ETCHING - SIGNED Measures 29 1/2 by 22 inches. The frame is a vintage antiqued bronze gold color. The period etching is of a field worker clearing the wooden rake. She is wearing a costume of the era and has wooden shoes. My research indicates that a Walter Satterlee was born in 1844 and died in 1908. I believe this to be one of his works. The print is marked copyright 1886 by W. Wellstood & Co.,NY - I believe that this may also be a limited print. It appears to be signed on the bottom left side by W. Satterlee. Overall condition is good but it does have a few stains on the white trim portion., The sketch is very detailed.
