Beautiful vintage fish platter. Measuring 2 feet long by 10 inches wide, this beautiful platter is now being used as a display item. It is hallmarked Porcelain L.R.L. Limoge France - a 1920's hallmark. This is a very old piece, resored many years ago, as evidenced by the lead staple repair in the rear of the platter.
The art work makes it quite a conversation piece, as does the unusual early repair - a total of 13 lead staples have kept it together for many years. Signed by the artist Murville in the front. Surely its owner thought enough about it, to salvage it as a decoration item. Think how it would look on your wall.
