Volupte is a classic maker of lovely vintage compacts. Here is a cute different pillbox. This painted black with gold trim metal box has a rhinestone faux diamond in the shape of a swallow bird on the top. This type of bird design was the rage in the 1920s. May be from this period. Marked Volupte USA inside. Some rust inside this 1.25 by 1.0 inches wide collectible that may be removed and some of the stones are missing. Very cute vanity collectible or pillbox for personal use.
