Lovely antique english plate with napkin folds on each corner. This plate has the mark of Sampson Bridgewood and Sons anchor mark of Longton, Great Britain and the impressed English pottery mark which I cannot make out but used between 1868 and 1883. May be earlier mark of 1842 to 1867 but not clear. Either way this is a very old English plate by a great maker of English china. Has pretty unknown leaf pattern as shown of brown and aqua blue fall leaves. Some wear as shown but still vivid for age.
