This painting caused quite a riot when it was shown in America around 1917 and a vice officer saw it in a display window. Soon after it became the rage. This sweet flower frog was made in Germany and I cannot find another one the same size. It is 7.50 inches tall. I believe she may of been made around the 1920s and does have crazing. One of the bottom petals also has a chip and I have more photos to send if needed. There are 7 holes to put flowers in. Just a precious antique for a display case and quite hard to find. |
