Vintage Empire Ware sandwich tray with the Crinoline Lady pattern. So sweet it may be used as a vanity tray also. Size is 12.0 by 5.50 and it was made by the Empire Porcelain Co. of Stoke-on-Trent of Staffordshire England. I purchased this on my trip to Scotland. The Crinoline ladies came in different colored dresses and are quite collectible. This is marked June 1953 and is in nice condition with just a bit of loss to the gilt. Background of gold chintz flowers. |
