The creamware tea pot presented dates to the first quarter of the Nineteenth Century. The body of this teapot is creamware. It measures 9 inches long by 5 1/2 inches tall. Note the recessed lid the prominent, trumpeting collar.
Items of this vintage are seldom in good condition, but this one is the exception. There are no cracks or hairlines, The tip of the spout shows a few little nibbles. There is a shallow flake to the underside of the collar as pictured, a flake to the underside of the lid, and a miniscule nip to the edge of the lid. |
