Victorian Ivory, Red Satin and Feather Fan If there ever was a reason to hold a Victorian ball, this fan would be it. This spectacular fan has ivory guards and sticks and measures 12 inches long and 23 inches wide. The material on the front is a red satin and the floral design is painted on. The feathers measure 5 inches. The back is also a red satin material. The material has started to come away from the sticks on the back but this should be easily reglued. If you can only give yourself one gift this holiday season, this fan should be it.

Victorian Black Sheer Sequinned Fan Breathtaking. This fan has it all. The material is very sheer black with the floral design painted on and tiny sequins sewn where the light will hit them and make them sparkle. The fan measures 14 inches long and 26 inches wide when opened. The design on the guards almost look like it has been carved. Each one of the sticks is decorated with the same design. There is very little wear on the fan. The only flaw is that the material is starting to pull away from the guards but this is a simple fix. This is just an extraordinary fan. The fan probably dates from the 1890's. This would be a wonderful addition to any collection.

Victorian Painted Scene Fan This is a beautiful fan dating again from about 1890. The guards are painted a deep, deep red. The sticks are left in a natural color. The fan is made of paper with a painted scene on the front. The scene is of a couple in a garden. She has a bouquet of flowers and he has set aside his shovel. The back of the fan is a deep, deep red paper. The fan is in wonderful condition. There are no tears or holes. The fan measures 13 3/8 inches long and 24 1/2 inches when opened.

Victorian Gold Fan Here is a very unusual Victorian Fan dating, I believe, from the 1890's. This fan has wood sticks and painted black guards but the material of the fan is a glittering gold foil with a paper backing. What a statement for a New Year's Eve party! The fan measures 14 inches long and 26 1/2 inches when opened. There is no wear on the fan. It is in excellent shape with no tears or holes. There are 2 blue tassels that I don't believe are original. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection.

Victorian Red Satin Roses and Feathers Fan Do you love roses? Then this fan is the one for you. The roses handpainted on the red satin are beautiful. This Victorian fan measures 12 1/2 inches long with the feathers adding another 1/2 inch. When fully opened, the fan measures 24 inches wide. The red satin is 5 1/2 inches and the feathers measure about 3 inches. The sticks and guards are outstanding. These are polished wood with a beautiful grain. The pattern is done in a gold gilt. The back of the fan is a heavier material like a polished cotton. The fan is in excellent condition with no tears or holes. If you want to make a statement, this is the fan that will do it for you. What an outstanding addition to your collection.

Victorian Ivory Hand Painted Fan Fabulous Victorian Ivory handpainted fan measures 14 inches long. The material is a sheer 2-sided material and the floral design in blues and whites is painted on the material. The guards are a solid ivory with an intricate design. Each stick has a pierced design. The fan when opened completely is 27 inches wide. The material is very fragile and there are 3 runs in the material. On the back the material has started to come away from the guard but does not detract from the beauty of this extraordinary fan.

There is no decoration on either the sticks or the guards. The focus is on the satin with its painted florals. The painting is done in very muted tones of white, green and lavender. The fan is plain with no handpainting. The sticks though are beautifully detailed. There is an open dot pattern as well as a carved pattern. The guards are beautiful with the pattern being repeated several times. The fan is in wonderful condition with just 2 spots on the back side of it. The material has separated from a few of the sticks so you need to be careful when closing the fan. These only need to be reglued. There are no tears or holes in this fan. This is a beautiful pieces of artwork that would make a great addition to any collection.

Victorian Black Satin Mourning Fan This Victorian Black Mourning Fan measures 13 1/2 inches long and 25 1/2 inches wide when fully opened. The sticks and guards are wood painted black. There is very little damage to the fan only the wear that comes from being over 100 years old. The front side of the fan is black satin and the back side is I believe black cotton. One of the guards has a crack and has been repaired with a tiny, tiny pin that you can see with a magnifying glass. The repair I think is also very old making this fan both well used and well loved.
