Victorian Celluloid Photo Album Fairy/Cherubs
This is a great Victorian celluoid cover photo album. It is in wonderful shape with little wear on the album. The cover is fantastic. It is a blue cover with the fairy queen and 2 cherubs/cupids in white. The fairy has a beautiful face and flowing gown. She is sitting on a branch of blossums. The figures are raised and are beautifully depicted. The spine and back cover are a deep burgundy velveteen with very little wear. The clasp is complete and original. It is in very good working condition. The album measures 11 inches by 8 1/2 inches and holds 26 large cabinet-type photos and one page for 8 smaller photos--4 on each side. There are 12 large photos and 5 small photos. The cover reminds me of Wedgwood Jasperware. This is a truly unique Victorian piece and a true collector's item.

Victorian Celluloid Photo Album Floral Album
These celluloid photo albums were treasured among our Victorian ancestors. Today they are just as much of a treasure. This album has the ivory celluloid cover with a raised floral bouquet. The title of the album is Floral Album. Inside the cover page is a colorful graphic and this is carried through to other pages in the album. The album measures 8 1/2 inches by 10 1/2 inches. It has the original clasp and is in good working condition. The spine was origianally covered in a velour but that has worn away. The back cover is also celluoid. There are 13 pages that hold 26 (one on each side) large photos. There are 2 pages for smaller photos in the back. There are spaces for 4 photos on each page for a total of 16 photos. Six of the pages have colored graphics. There are still 14 old photos in the book. The front cover does have one small crack but it is not very noticeable since it is in the floral bouquet. This album is in good condition and would be a great Victorian collectable for you.
