I believe this is late 1800's Siver Cigarette Case. It has a set of English Hallmarks including the lion. The top is curved but caves in where pushed and is a little tarnished. The bottom actually is better, silver is shiny. Inside there is a blue elastic strip on each side to hold the cigarettes. Too small for todays cigarettes. Only measures 1 3/4 by 3 inches.
