| Here is an outstanding example of the 1920's dress. It has an extravagant collar of victorian beading, gold stitching, gold and green beads. The body of the dress is a sheer black with underlying sheer pink peeping through along eyelets on either side of the dress and a border at the bottom with black fringe hanging towards the hem of the dress. The black and pink theme is repeated at the ribbon waist. The back has a double row of hook and eye closures, one row on the bodice pink underlay and another row down the black. Some repairs have been made over the years but still in wearable condition but frail. I'd recommend displaying. Bust 38-40, waist 34. Length from shoulder to hem 50 inches. |
