Shorter & Sons England Majolica Salt & Pepper
This is a delighter pair of Shorter & Sons Stoke-On-Trent England salt and pepper shakers in the fish design which has been attributed to Clarice Cliff. Seldom available in the States, they are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, restorations, etc.
They are yellow and green, and the yellow is darker than shown in the picture.
They are approximately 2 1/2 inches in height and 3 1/2 inches in length.
They likely date to the 1930s.
These would be a fabulous addition to any majolica collection, be wonderful at a seaside cottage or part of a salt and pepper collection!

Shorter and Sons Majolica Dishes - 4
This is a delightful set of four Shorter and Sons English Majolica plates which have been attributed to famed artist Clarice Cliff. They can be used as bone plates, etc.
They are in fabulous condition, especially given that they are probably from the late 30's or early 40's. While we have shown photos (front and back) of one of the plates, they are identical. If you wish more photos, please feel free to email for them.
Dimensions: Approximately 6 3/4 by 3 3/4 inches.
They would be a great addition to any Clarice Clift or Shorter and Sons collection. Great gift item, as well!

Shorter & Son Art Deco Majolica Fish Tureen
This fabulous Shorter & Son Art Deco Fish Tureen has arrived from Australia. In excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, etc. Perhaps some light, clean crazing commensurate with age. While not signed these items have been attributed to renowned artist, Clarice Clift.

Shorter & Sons English Majolica Fish Server
Fabulous, rare, and in wonderful condition. These art deco items are seldom seen in the U.S. This server was imported from Australia. These items are attributed to renowned English artist, Clarice Clift, who designed many of Shorter's famous English items, including this fish design.
This charmer is 11 inches by 6.5 inches.
While it is from the deco era, and definitely majolica, it can be used and enjoyed or displayed. The yellows and greens are fabulous.

Shorter English Majolica Gravy/Sauce - Fish!
Here is a unique and stunning SHORTER & SON sauce boat and underplate in their signature fish shape. Both pieces have been carefully moulded with mouth, eyes, scales and fins.
Shorter Fish Majolica items are very rare in the U.S., yet quite sought after.
Both pieces are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips but some clean crazing due to age.
SHORTER ENGLAND is impressed into the base of the sauce boat and stamped on both items in blue is SHORTER & SON LTD, STOKE -ON- TRENT, ENGLAND.
This treasure is from the Art Deco era. It can be displayed or used. It would also make a great gift!
