Manufacturer: Haviland JUST REDUCED!
By any other name it looks this good. What a fabulous antique porcelain oyster plate from Haviland (H & Co.)! The wonderfully delicate translucent porcelain and the fine design and decoration blend beautifully. The five oyster-shaped wells, with their hand painted muscle scars, are overlaid with a bounty of bright red roses and blue forget-me-nots; stunning! This is the Haviland floral to compare to any.
