We are pleased to present a beautiful and rare Quimper Fouillen shell shaped oyster plate, with a starfish center.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, restorations, etc.
A similar oyster plate can be seen on page 89 of Collecting Oyster Plates by Jeffrey Snyder. The colors are different, but the 9 inch mold is the same. Snyder prices this oyster plate at $595.00.
The mark dates this wonderful oyster plate to the 1920s-30s.
