Wonderful condition, exquisite gold and the gracefulness of the Wave pattern make this a must-have oyster plate. A similar one can be seen in Jeffrey Snyder's Collecting Oyster Plates and valued at $850-900.
The marks date this gorgeous oyster plate to the 1880s.
