Imperial Glass

Imperial Glass Company, Bellaire, Ohio was organized in 1901 and was in continuous production, except for a very brief period, until its closing in June 1984. It has been a major producer of Carnival Glass earlier in the last century and also produced other types of glass, including an art glass line call “Free Hand Ware” during the 1920’s, and its “Jewels” about 1916.

This 3-1/4 inch tall depression glass low green sherbet or wine glass is Imperial’s “Diamond Quilted” or “Flat Diamond” pattern circa 1920-1930. This is a simple pressed pattern with a quilted diamond effect and it is in mint condition

This Early American Pattern Glass dish is quite thick and measures 6-1/2” to the loop handle by 1-3/4” tall. This beautiful sharp to the touch nappy bowl is in mint condition with no chips

Imperial Glass Red Ruby Candlewick Sherbet Imperial Glass Red Ruby Candlewick Cocktail or Sherbet. This is Imperial Glass Candlewick 3400 or 3800 pattern cocktail or low sherbet circa 1937-1967. It holds 4 oz. and measures 4” tall by 3-3/4” opening on top of bowl. This is a tulip shaped ruby bowl on a single beaded clear stem and foot. This piece would compliment Morgantown Glass Spanish Red Ball pattern pieces. This beautiful glass is in mint condition and there are two available. Price is for each.

Twisted Optic Spiral Crystal Vase Depression Glass Twisted Optic Crystal Vase. This lovely crystal vase, possibly made by Imperial Glass circa 1927-1930 has a twisted pattern of swirls or spirals that go in the direction of right or counterclockwise. This vintage vase measures 7” tall with a 4” opening on top. Could also be Duncan Miller Spiral Flute. Vase is in excellent condition with some straw marks

Imperial Glass Molly 725 Console Bowl Imperial Glass Molly 725 Centerpiece Console Bowl. This pink Depression Imperial Glass 8 sided octagon shaped Molly pattern #725 console or flower bowl was very popular in the 1920s. Bowl measures 13-1/2” with a flared rolled down rim with curved glass panels. Console was very popular for the dining table. Consoles usually had matching candlesticks and were also called garniture sets. The vogue of the time was to put a frog in the middle to create a floral centerpiece for the dining table or buffet. This particular console is also a Reversible Bowl which was very popular and versatile for decorating and serving fruits for the 1920s modern hostess. The console-fruit-flower bowl is in very good condition for its age and use with no chips or nicks.
