Cobalt Glass Salt and Pepper Shakers with Chrome Liners. This salt and pepper shaker set in cobalt blue glass stand 2-1/2” tall each. Each shaker has a chrome filigree motif liner or insert that goes over the cobalt glass vessel. One of the chrome pieces has a screwed red Bakelite finial on the top. Unfortunately the other one does not. It probably got lost over the years, and the top of it has some oxidation from the salt. Both cobalt shakers have an incised marked on the glass bottom with “Japan”. Shakers are both in good condition for their age and use. |
