Vintage Czechoslovakia Union K Porcelain RICE Canister. This lovely old porcelain canister measures 6-1/4" tall by 3-3/4" square on the bottom. Pattern is a black band with pink roses at edge of oval green leaf wreath which centers a blue flower.
The lettering on this beautiful canister piece is 24K gold. This exquisite Rice kitchen canister was made by United Porcelain Factories AG, Klasterec, Czechoslovakia between 1921-1927. It is marked on the bottom with its trademark: Union K inside round wheat sheaf topped by crown and underneath: made in Czechoslovakia.
Although it is missing its lid (cover) this pretty piece is in excellent condition for its age and use. Price has been discounted for missing lid.
